gmail smtp settings ?!?!?

Cannot access Google SMTP service … tried all options :frowning:

Cannot get eM to connect to Google’s SMTP service no matter which options I try !
Was OK a couple of days ago but suddenly stopped sending.
IMAP incoming is OK but program refuses to connect to Google SMTP.

… tried all variations with eM’s SMTP settings but nothing seems to work.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling program but all it did was to simply reinstate the program with the account settings as before and still no SMTP connection.

Any suggestions on how to solve this please ???

My configuration of the gmail account (SMTP) looks quite different. Which version of emClient are you using? My configuration looks as follows and it works flawlessly:
