It seems that there’s some issue with Gmail? I have been tried to load my emails and send some but it takes ages to load messages (even simple ones) and when trying to send one, it states loading and the fails.
I have tried to restart it a couple of times and also with another license (8 and 9), but same issue. The computer with the 9 license cannot even load the new messages from a week ago to now.
If you are not able to load Gmail messages from even a week ago up to current and you have tried V9 or even the latest V10 Beta, then either your internet connection is not working properly, or you maybe have some other program possibly interferring wirh your email receiving, or you may have inncorrect mail settings or you might have a problem with the OS.
So first suggest to do a speedtest on your internet connection to make sure thats working ok. One of the best sites for that i use it speedtest.net .
Now if your intenet connection speed is ok, then could be a program running in the background. So if you have any eg: optionally installed Firewalls / Security programs or optionally installed Antivirus programs or VPNs, then try completely disabling those to test.
Apart from that we would need to check your Gmail IMAP and SMTP settings to make sure they are correct. Go to “Menu / Accounts” and click on your Gmail account on the left and then click the Imap and smtp tabs and updste what your server address, server port and security policy is to dblcheck that.
Also whether you have Windows or Mac and what OS version you have incase there is an issue there.
Also what eM CIient version are you currently using.
