Gmail folder showing, but no e-mails

I just purchased eM personal lifetime account. I migrated both my Gmail accounts over successfully, I see all of the folders, but only several emails in each folder. I looked at the some of the threads to follow instructions, but they have not worked for me.

so, it’s a syncing issue. Not quite sure how to address this since I’m a new client and have spent several hours reading different topics to know avail

I am new to this email client and if someone could assist I would greatly appreciate it.

Using a web browser to check your gmail.com do you still see the messages? Are the messages still in gmail.com but not showing up in em client?

That’s exactly correct. I actually ended up working with the VIP tech support and figured it out after a lot of back and forth. Thanks so much for replying Tony!

That’s great. It might help others with the same symptoms. Can you describe the fix that corrected the problem? I’m curious myself.
