Gmail contacts ghastly colour

How do I change the vile orange colour it has given to my gmail contacts? Thanks

you can change Category via Right click -> Category.

Do you mean that I have to change the category of each and every contact? Why can’t I just change the color **of the Category**, like I can change the color of a Calendar?

I hope I’m misunderstanding this. eM Client has some very nice features (I just started evaluating the beta 4 client this evening) but I couldn’t understand, either, why my contacts were all defaulting to this sickly yellow-orange colour that is rather hard to read.

You can just change the colour of the category. In the menu -> Tools -> Category.
