Getting prompted for gmail password every time I use emClient

I keep getting prompted for gmail password every time I use emClient. I have 2-step verification, so also have to key in the verification code. How do I avoid this?

This is not the first time I have had this issue with emClient

I was having the same problem so I unload EM and reloaded and the problem has stopped.

Hello Oliver,
WHat version of eM Client are you currently running?
have you tried activating eM Client with an app password?
If so, have you tried removing it from allowed apps and adding it again?
Have you tried re-adding your account in eM Client?
