I know this is nit picky, but Can I change the default Icon that emclient grabs from my company domain’s default icon? That icon is too small and looks bad. Look at the fuzzy red Fleur Des Li icons. All other icons look great. I changed the default icon for the account in emclient but the emails from people who have not uploaded their own graphic all look like this.
Anything I can do?
You would first “change that fav icon on your company website” and then once changed, go in eM Client to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Contacts / General” and disable the box marked “Download avatar from external sources” Then click Apply and Save & Close Settings”.
Then close eM Client and reopen and go back in there and re-enable that setting and click Apply and Save and close settings. Then click Refresh.
The new fav domain icon can take time to update so be patient if it doesn’t appear straight away
Also if your email address is connected to eg: Gravatar.com eM Client also uses those avatar icons as well and will change if you update there.
