fresh eM Client install shows Sent folder full of bogus spam

I loaded eM Client on a computer on which I had been unable to install Outlook 2007 – no activations left. With eM Client installed, I imported the pst file I had prepared from another computer. Everything went flawlessly but when I looked at the new Sent folder, it had about 100 bogus “Be A Secret Shopper” spams apparently sent from my computer. They did not show up on the old computer. I am running Kaspersky Pure, which usually catches email viruses and hacks. Were these bogus sends hidden in the pst file, or included as part of the “free” eM Client package, or was my email program and contact list hacked immediately after I loaded it? I hate the idea of having to buy and use Outlook.
Thanks, Jon T.
