Thanks for checking into this

I am sorry but I cannot provide you any solution at the moment because the problem is not on our side. Your server returns: (500) Internal Server Error.

Understandable, I was using Windows Live Mail 2012 previously.
Which didn’t seem to have as many issues with connections as I am seeing with eM client.

Perhaps a new button on that Operations Window, adding Ignore forever.
Then the user could just click that and all ‘500’ errors (for this instance) wouldn’t generate an error.

Thanks for your consideration and for making this solid product.

ps: I’m also visual studio .net developer

It seems reasonable. At the moment, you can only disable the option “Show window when an error occur”.

I got the exact same issue like this all the time and it is very annoying and I feel so tired to dismiss the pop up message box in every 5 minutes.  I have emailed support for the same issues few times, and I got the same answer.  But I really think eM client should handle this 500 error nicely and not like popping up thousand and thousand error message box like this as this is not a freeware and it is very expensive to buy for a license.  eM client team, please provide us a solution as soon as possible, this is very un-professional especially this is paid software.

I’m using Thunderbird email client these days, at least until things like this and imap sub folder new mail notification are taken care of. For a free product Thunderbird can do just about anything, has a lot of features and add-ons. I’d look into it.

Hi, if you’re having the same issue and you see the 500 Internal server , what mail service are you using? What do you mean by handle nicely, would you like to not show the error? If a server returns an error (which is this case), we believe it is best to show the user there are some issues with the connection, maybe you should try contacting your mail service support in order to resolve this issue.

Thank you for understanding,
Paul.
