Hi, I’m testing v7 beta.
The way you have implemented conversation chaining with Forward message is tricky, since there are no indications, in Message header, allowing Gmail app (and other email clients - like AquaMail) to “link” the forward message with the others.
eg. Message 2 is a Fwd of Message 1.
In v7 beta, they will displayed in the same conversation
Gmail (and AquaMail) app will show them separate because no specific header is set in your forward message (ie “References:” field).
My request: please take your time and add “references:” field to make conversation view work with other email clients (Gmail, AquaMail on Android).
Otherwise, thank you for the good job v7 beta is very good.
Hope that you will study carefully (and implement) my request/suggestion.

we know about the issue. References header will be supported in a final release of version 7. We are working on that.
