Folder structure changed - 'more' folder has appeared

While deleting multiple e-mails from my inbox, I must have clicked something wrong, because the folder structure has changed. Below my account folder is one called ‘more’, and now my inbox and inbox subfolders are within ‘more’.

The folder ‘more’ cannot be moved, deleted or changed. Also, if I click on ‘more’, in the main area to the right of the folders it says there are no items in this folder, when plainly there are.

If I receive an e-mail, the ‘more’ folder disappears and the Inbox jumps back to where it should be, but after clicking on the subfolders, the ‘more’ folder reappears.

I also cannot move the inbox folder out of ‘more’. It shows a no-entry symbol if I try and drag it anywhere. What on earth has happened?

thanks,

Jon

I’m away from home atm, so bear with me. The 'More, folder appears when one ‘hides’ unwanted folders. So try right click on folder in the ‘More’ folder and ‘unhide’??

Hello Jonathan, as David implied, you should be able to restore the folder back to the original settings of your list by unhiding the folder, that way it should reappear in the standard list of folders without being hidden under “more”.

Hope this helps or that you were able to resolve the problem after David’s response.

Thank you.

Jonathon should have replied.  Thank you.  Not realizing what “show if unread” meant when right-clicking the Inbox, I clicked it.  Once I’d done that my Inbox would sometimes show up in the regular place and sometime under “More”.  Very confusing until I read this.  Thanks again.  I’ll use this feature more now that I know what it means.
