folder disappeared after renaming

I used the rename option to rename a folder in my .me IMAP account. on hitting [enter] the folder has now disappeared. I have checked my .me account online and the directory has gone. Can anybody help?

Hello Giles, not quite sure what folder you’re referring to, was this a regular folder or one of the special folders such as Trash/Junk? I’m afraid that if the folder isn’t visible on the remote mail server you won’t be able to restore the folder without an existing backup, are you able to replicate this issue with any other folder? What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
