I delivered a new computer to a client. His old computer had a windows crash and EMClient no longer would start (along with most other programs). I can get into his hard drive.
What files and/or folders do I need to copy to get his data and then copy to the new computer?
We thought it would sync, but it is notdoing that.

If you have the old hard-disk connected to the new pc, then “you can either copy the eM Client backup,zip file and restore that on the new computer”, or if they didn’t use the built-in backup, then “you can copy the complete hidden database folder contents” and replace the current new hidden folder contents.
Either way will then be exactly the same as before provided you install the same or later version of eM Client.
