Filter out spam messages from Unread smart folder

My “Unread” smart folder also contains all messages from my different spam / bulk email folders (Yahoo, Google, etc…) which makes it kind of useless since it is littered with spam messages.

Would it be possible to filter out these messages or at least tell EM not to include unread messsages from some specific folders.

I could not figure out how to also create a rule that would do: “mark as unread all messages from this given folder”.

Hi, what version of eM client are you using? Can you maybe make a screenshot of the issue?
eM client should not display unread junk email in Unread smart folders.

Hi,

I am using 6.0.20025.0. This issue is with the “Bulk Mail” folder of Yahoo for instance. All those emails are going to my Unread folder.

I would be nice to have the option to exclude some folder from the smat Unread folder.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately all the smart folders contain the messages from all your accounts, and can’t be set, but we’ll consider adding this feature to future releases.
