I’m deeply concerned.
I checked the checksums of the installer of eM Client
b244f63d5b90babf3513ad16cc6617ed
b244f63d5b90babf3513ad16cc6617ed

of the files downloaded both from softpedia as well as your www.
However, my Online Armor kept alerting me, this is sth that never happened before!
I ran virustotal and got not only “Gen:Variant.Graftor.123443”
but additionally 'TROJ_GEN.F47V0609
’

Help - what’s going on?

Hi, if you’ve downloaded the installer from our website, I’m certain the installer on our website does not contain any viruses.

Hi again, I’ve consulted the issue with the developers, this is just message that warns you about the installer using system information (needed for the installation).
Most common antiviruses don’t show warnings while installers are using this data. We’re positive that this is not an issue, only your antivirus is being a little over-protective.

I understand your concerns, but I can assure you there’s nothing to worry about if you’ve downloaded the installer from a safe-source (e.g. our website, cnet, etc.).
