Even with newest version of Em CLient 6, all emails (with attachments larger than 10 MB) simply do not show up in the Inbox!
This way, the program is completely useless for exchange connection.
Using Exchange Server 2007 SP1.
Hi Ruediger,
Can it be that your system administrator has set a limit on e-mail attachments (of 10 MB in your case)?
Hi Hans,
no, this is not the case. These emails show up normally in Outlook Web Access and Outlook 2013, but not in EM Client. So it really is an issue of EM Client.
I already sent an Exchange log to Jan in 2013, any news?
Hi Ruediger,
I have no problems receiving attachments bigger than 10 MB.
Do you happen to have multiple e-mail accounts?
If yes, can you not receive e-mails with an attachment larger than 10 MB for *all* those accounts?
Or do you have 1 or more e-mail accounts in which eM Client *is* able to receive e-mails with big attachments?
I have Gmail using IMAP connection, there it works just fine.
I have only one exchange account where it does not work.
Hello,
I will need your Exchange Web Services logs, go to tools - settings - advanced, check Exchange Web Services under your account, apply and restart eM Client.
Send yourself onto your Exchange account a large file, and synchronize with server while it is being downloaded then send logs… to [email protected] together with this topic’s URL in subject.
then you can turn logging off.
regards
Jan
Hi,
out of curiosity, the problem is gone today(?!)
I am very sorry that I cannot reproduce the problem any more.
It is okay, main thing is that it works. If you will encounter this issue again just follow my previous post and we will take look at it.

With newest version of Em CLient 6, all emails (with attachments larger than 8 MB) simply do not show up in the Inbox of my Exchange account. Using Office 365.
These emails show up normally in Outlook Web Access and Outlook 2013, but not in EM Client.
So it is an issue of EM Client.
Hello Alexis, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please try to update your eM Client to this release, 6.0.22504.0 and try to perform repair on affected folders that do not seem to display attachments?
To repair the folder, right click the folder in the left pane and select Properties > Repair and click on the “Repair” button, this will force a folder resynchronisation. Wait for the re-sync to finish and let me know if the problem reoccurs.
Regards,
Problem resolved. Thanks
Glad it works, please make sure to let us know if you come across any other issues or questions about the application, we’ll be happy to help.
