When I’m offline everything is working just fine, but when I’m offline my attachements are unreadable: The error prompt ‘the attachement cannot be downloaded’ suggests that attachements aren’t downloaded automatically? I couldn’t find the option to force the download all attachements when online. Is there such an option?
Hi Johan, if you want to display your emails while offline, please make sure you have the option “Download messages for offline use” with “including attachments” enabled for your account in eM Client.
You should be able to enable this option in your account settings under your IMAP tab or under the Offline settings in Properties of your account, you can display the properties by right clicking your account in the left pane.
Hope this helps,
Paul
hey Paul,
thanks for your reply. I’ve discovered the right-click options of my account, but saw that both options were checked under the ‘offline’ tab. The problem still persists however, has it anything to do with te type of account (Exchange)?
Hi again Johan, thank you for reporting this issue, it seems like this is an issue of the application, when using the “including attachments” option, the attachments are not downloaded.
I have reported the issue to the developers and we’ll be working on a fix for this issue to upcoming releases of eM Client.
I hope this issue hasn’t caused any inconvenience on your computer.
Thank you,
Paul
I realize that this is an old thread but I am having the same issue with Version 7 on a Microsoft Exchange account. It appears this issue still persists.
