Two days ago i configured from scratch three POP3 accounts. I created a new Database file as well from a .pst file. All incoming/outgoing mails end up in that Database file using Rules.
Everything worked as expected until last night. Everytime i launch eM Client i get a dialog that says “There are no operations in progress” and the log says “eM Client 10.4.5647+73db7f10b0 (Windows) 11:50:09 Online state: changed to online due to NetworkAvailability”.
To test it on another computer i copied the whole folder specified in Settings > Storage to another computer with version 10.4.5642 installed and get the very same error there. So, same error in both 10.4.5647 and 10.4.5642.
The error goes away if i unmount the database file but comes back if i create a new blank Database file using Data Files > Create Data File. I don´t import anything to it using a .pst file.
I can send and receive mails from/to all three POP3 accounts, with no errors.
EDIT:
Everything works in Outlook Classic, iow no network errors there.
1./ Do I understand that you setup a new installation of eMC with 3 POP accounts?
2./ If I am correct this will have created a Database
3./ To use your PST file did you do this? Menu >File >Import >Outlook Data File (.pst .ost)
4./ I do not understand your use of Rules to do something that happens by default
5./ If as you say the error goes away when you unmount the Database this indicates a corruption
6./ The Database unmount will cause a new Database on reboot
7./ I am not sure if a copy of eMC v10.4.5647 back to v10.4.5642 is compatible
It is entirely up to you, however, as you have a working Outlook Classic I would create a new PST file
and start again from scratch with a new installation of eMC and this time simply import the .PST as opposed creating a Database

1./ Do I understand that you setup a new installation of eMC with 3 POP accounts?
Yes, thats correct.
2./ If I am correct this will have created a Database
No, one must manually create the Database by going to File > Import > Outlook Data File. (Or going to Data Files > Create Data File)
3./ To use your PST file did you do this? Menu >File >Import >Outlook Data File (.pst .ost)
Yes.
4./ I do not understand your use of Rules to do something that happens by default
When creating a Database it will just be there doing nothing. To have mails going there you must set up Rules, that in my case, moves the incoming/outgoing mails from the Local Folders to the Database i created earlier. Mails do never by default go to a Database. (unfortunately)
5./ If as you say the error goes away when you unmount the Database this indicates a corruption
I did more tests later and the error came back with my “old” Database and with the new. None of those were corrupt.
6./ The Database unmount will cause a new Database on reboot
No, unmounting a Database just unmounts it. Unmounting will never create a new one upon reboot. At least i have never seen a new database created when unmounting and then rebooting when i did test it.
After more testing it seems to be one or more offending things set in the Settings that triggers this error. I exported almost everything, iow Accounts/Passwords/Rules, but never the Settings. This worked when i imported it to a install with the default settings. I did the opposite, just exported the Settings and when i import them to a fresh setup the error is back, always. So there is something in the Settings that triggers the error. To be continued…
