My program has stopped functioning properly. While it in most cases will receive emails it does not send them and I constantly get errors saying the settings might be incorrect. I have checked them and even updated them but it did not solve the problems.
Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and click on the SMTP tab for the problem account. Make sure you have one of the following port/security policy combinations:
Port 587 = Force usage of SSL/TLS
Port 25 = Use SSL/TLS if available
Port 465 = Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
If that does not help, disable any anti-virus/firewall application and try again.
