endless password loop

Upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 and now eM Client keeps asking for email passwords over and over. I have entered the passwords in the pop up window and have also entered them in the account settings in eM Client. None of this has worked and none of the accounts have worked at all. I am trying to sign in to 2 gmail accounts, one with 2 step verification and one without, same result on both.

which version of eM Client are you running? Have you tried removing the gmail accounts and setting them up anew?

Yes, I tried deleting the accounts and adding them again. Also uninstalled and reinstalled eM Client.

Same problem here.
running version 7.2
The program  ask for gmail user and password, after the login it shows a new window asking por permission, after I click Allow the program showm me back the login window.
I delete and add the email account twice, and also tried reinstalling software.
Any Fix for this??

The only fix I found was to go back to Thunderbird.

we did not find the cause of this issue before, but we’d like to definitely get to the bottom of this.
Does this happen even with the latest version http://www.emclient.com/dist/v7.0.27894/setup.msi ?
