emSync mac2ios possible

installed emclient 11 beta and set up a emsync account, now how could i use these to configure a emclient ios-version? QR-Code setup never works for me (maybe bc i have a proton account with special settings on my mac).

So do i need a newer version of emclient ios (testflight maybe?) or for what reason other then syncing accounts between desktop and mobile is emsync useful for??

Thanks for clarification.

eM Client 11 BETA is coming to mobile apps soon, and yes, on iOS it will be via TestFlight.

Proton accounts unfortunately cannot work in third party apps on mobile devices, since they need the Proton Bridge to work via IMAP and Proton does not provide the option for mobile apps.

Are there plans to allow eM Client users to store their settings and such to a cloud service, such as OneDrive or Google Drive?

You can already save all your Settings, Accounts, Tags etc to cloud drives in the mobile app, via going to “Menu / Settings / Import-Export” and press Export settings to file.

Then “choose what you want to export” and then save to a folder in your cloud drive as per screenshot examples below.
