How about right click on TRASH folder than left click on “empty trash”? 2 clicks.

on emc 6 is that correct
but not on 7

I will not be moving to 7 for some time. Way too many complaints and 6 meets my needs perfectly, so “if it aint  broke…”.

Maybe when 8 comes out, I’ll move to 7.  :-)

Hello Sascha,
right-clicking on Trash and choosing Empty trash works in version 7 as well.
What accound does this issue happen on?

I see, you did not mention you meant the Trash in Smart folders :slight_smile:
We do have this marked as a Feature request though and it will be implemented in future upgrades.

Here is an easy work-around that I am using to empty all the trash for all my email accounts in the eM Client 7  “Smart Folders / Trash” folder.

  • Left-click “Trash” in the Smart Folders.
  • Left-click “Menu / Message / Empty Trash” and that will empty all the trash in all your email accounts at one time.
    Keep in mind that the procedure above will not empty the trash in your “Local Folders” and you will have to do that as another separate step.

I would like to see right click:
“Empty All Junk Folders”
