EmClient V8 -- Deactivate an account

Hi:

In older version of emClient, I used to have an “Enable” checkbox in the Account Submenu, but this option is no longer shown in V8.

Could someone be so kind to tell if if I can desactivate an account temporarily without having to delete it?

It’s something similar.

Go to Menu > Accounts > select the account you want to disable > General tab > Services > and then uncheck all the boxes under “services”. Each one controls a different function and you can google what the acronyms mean (for example SMTP is “Simple Mail Transfer Protocol” and controls sending emails) but it will effectively disable the account without removing it. When you’re ready to use the account again, recheck all the boxes.
