emClient stopped downloading messages

emClient 7.2.31849.0 stopped downloading messages on 2 June.  Running Win 10 Home, Build 17134.48 installed 5/24/2018;  Verified settings with GMail.  It’s been working fine until 2 June and messages DO show up on iPhone and iPad.  I’ll appreciate any help!

First thing to do is to disable your anti-virus and firewall and try again.

Hi.

My emClient (7.1.33101.0) stopped syncing in the year 2011. I tried to deactivate firewall and AV, but anyway, no syncing of “current” emails from GMail.

Why did it stop after syncing 2900 emails…

Please help… emClient is impossible to be used at the moment!

Regards
Benni

Any errors Benni? You can find them in Menu > Tools > Operations, either in the Errors or Log tabs.

No errors. The log-tab says:
12:57:16 (…)@googlemail.com [IMAP]  Synchronizing subfolders: Done

Two things you can try that essentially do the same thing:

  1. Right-click on the All Mail folder and choose Properties > Repair.

  2. Remove the account from eM Client, then add it again.

Repair did not work.  Ended up creating a new account (same as old one) and then after verifying all mail, calendar items, etc. were restored to the new account, and after backing up, I deleted the old account and all is well now.

Glad you got it sorted Lincoln.

Where can I download version 7.2.31849.0 ? My emClient update function says „no updates available, but version is 7.1.33101.0

You can’t download it. It is a beta that crashes practically every time you click on a folder.
