I have moved eMClient and data to a new Windows 7 computer. When I open an email message with an embedded URL, eMClient opens the URL in a bunch of text in Notepad, but will not open the http link. eMClient on my old computer, also Windows 7, opens the website links, but the new one does not. I have checked or an update but there is none available, so I appear to be running the latest version (5.0.18661.0). How do I get the new install it to open the websites?
Found and resolved the problem . . . it was Windows Default Programs, NOT eMClient. Not all of the default settings were selected for Internet Explorer on the new computer. Once the FTP, HTTP and HTTPS boxes were selected for Internet Explorer, the hyperlinks opened just the way they should. Sorry for the dumb question . . .
Love eMClient, by the way . . . I will buy the Pro version soon.
