Emclient lost during aborted V8 install

Am setting up new laptop, loaded V7, activated with my pro licence, restored from backup and all was fine.

Then it offered me an update, which I accepted, not realising it was a major upgrade. I was then told I was unlicenced and needed to buy V8 licences. I didn’t want to pay for these so I deactivated, reinstalled V7, re-restored database, tried to reactivate and was told it was unvalid nd converted to a free - limited - V8 licence. So, I need you to restore one of my licences please. Ron

Since you have a PRO license for v7 I would suggest you open a support ticket.

Normally if you go to Menu > Help > Get Support and you have a Pro License activated, it should take you to the support web interface.

If you have a Free License activated, it should bring you to this forum. I guess that was because of the issue with the license that you came here.
