emClient failure after update

AutoUpdate required restart (File in use), and then returned with ‘corrupt database’.  

“Checking for corrupted database…” seems hung (15 minutes)

I was able to use Revo Uninstaller to remove all of em Client (database, registry entries, files, settings, etc) and then reinstall 7.0 and give it my email info and it is running fine.  Looks like a developer issue.
