I have been trying em Client to see how it works with Smartermail current.
Overall very nice, and fast.
But, I get this error in em Client, for one user so far:
1:43:00 PM [email protected] [Exchange Web Services] MailClient.Storage.Application.OperationException: Synchronizing folder ’ [email protected]/Contacts’ failed due to the following error: The specified object was not found in the store.
—> Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceResponseException: The specified object was not found in the store.
And in the Smartermail EWS log, I get an error rendering a specific image.
So, I believe it is a contact avatar of some weird format.
But all render in the web interface.
I am happy to find and correct the image, but this user has 571 contacts.
Hard to tell which one is in error.
em Client manages to import about 369 and stops, and there are contacts from A - Z, so, not imported in alphabetical order.
Outlook says there are 558, so it keeps going after an error.
And the SM web interface says 571.
Any ideas on how to find the one (or more) in issue?
Or have em Client continue getting all contacts

I suspect you will have to eg: manually open the contacts online from 559 onwards and look for anything different. Could be a eg: space or hidden character or symbol baulking the import in one of those online contacts after 558…
The main concern here, is em Client, as it actually throws an error and stops.
Not enough detail in the em logfile to see where it maybe happening.
The issue is they do not come across alphabetically, but probably some order that
maybe based on the order they were added.
When I download a CSV export, the contacts around 369 (where the em Client fails) there
are no issues with the items in the CSV, or the web interface.
I am testing em Client as a replacement for Outlook, so only worried about that.

Sounds like then you may need to send in logs or other diagnostics to determine the problem.
