I disliked eM 8 so much that I finally was successful in reverting back to eM7. Now, however I cannot get the email headers to change colors when I assign a category to them. I had no problem with this when I originally had eM7.
When I click “Mark” and go to “Personal”, which in my case is green, it shows the “Personal” green box checked, but the email header is still black print.
I don’t know if I have explained this very well. I hope it makes sense.

Okay. Perseverance paid off! I finally figured out that I needed to go to
Menu, Tools, Appearance, Lists, then under “Item lists properties” check the box for “Use color of category as text color”. That fixed it!
