EMClient 6/7 freezes on resume for Hibernate

Hi,

  I have a Surface Pro 3 which i have changed to hibernate
rather than sleep. I find that when i resume from hibernate emclient freezes and you have no option but to end it from task manager and restart.

This is on Client Version 7 beta 2 but this also happens in version 6.

In addition, if i look at task manager it does appear to still be processing in that the cpu is still being utilized around at ~5-10%.

Can you assist as to why this is happening?

I have a surface 4 with Windows 10, and I have the same problem here.

One thing that may be a hint for the problem. If I hibernate and I keep the same IP address, the problem is infrequent. If I change the IP address (office vs home), there is a guarantee of freezing.

I have the same problem with V6 and V7 beta 2

Hi,
thank you for giving us feedback about this issue.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to avoid this issue at this moment as hibernating interferes with the process of saving new information into the database.
We are trying to find a solution, but until then it might be safer to not use hibernation option when eM Client is running.
