I use Focus modes on macOS/iOS. I am not sure if the issue I have is related to macOS Tahoe (26), or whether this was an issue before: I set a custom focus mode, to silence it all, no notifications, nada. emClient still gets through and plays sounds. Then I tried to add emClient to the apps to silence (see screenshot). Still no success – the new mail sound is still played. So what am I doing wrong? Or is this just one of those things that currently do not work well in this program?
You might need to also go to your Mac OS “Settings / Notifications / eM Client” and disable the “Play sound for notifications” slider.

Yes thats correct. but might be the only way to fix that atm if it won’t disable in Focus.
If there is an issue with eM Client and Focus mode with disabling sounds, you might need to wait for the next eM Client update and try it again then. Or alt if you have a current active paid Pro, Personal or Business version go to the VIP support page and login and lodge a support ticket
