Sometimes EMC fails to start after double clicking the icon.
I go into task manger and find EMC in the list of running processes but it doesnt open on the desktop. I have to end the task.
On the next attempt it opens without a problem.
Any idea why this happens?
Is there anything I can do to reduce the frequency it occurs?
If you are starting eM Client from the Windows Start menu, you should only be clicking once on the icon. Maybe you are starting from a desktop icon though.
But you can try reinstalling and see if there is any difference.
Close and uninstall eM Client, making sure NOT to delete the database folder when asked. That will ensure all your data and settings are there later.
If it exists, delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client folder.
Download and install the latest version from here: https://www.emclient.com/dist/latest/setup.msi
Restart eM Client.
