eMC not downloaing all my messages from the server

Today i opened eMC immediately after booting my PC and got an error message - failure to connect or something. I looked on the hotmail server (no problems there) and there were TWO messages. I signed out and opened eMC again and this time it downloaded ONE of those messages. I have repeated ‘refresh’ over the last 15mins, but the second email does not download.
I’ve had a few niggles recently - taking forever to download, downloading but the body of the email not showing.
Can someone tell me what’s happening please?

EDIT - just opened my account on the server again and the second message is now missing. It looks like eMC has somehow ‘lost’ it???

Same problem. email shows on phone, tablet and Windows mail but not on eMC.

Not exactly the same: at least yours consistently doesn’t download. Mine downloaded one of two and apparently destroyed the other, after a strange error message on opening for the first time. Possibly not the same issue.
