Emails in Inbox are blank and then it connects to servers

I have been using eM Client for years (version 7.2.34731.0). Recently, every time I click a new email in my Inbox, it is blank and I notice that it displays a spinning circle while it connects with gmail or my other servers. After several seconds it correctly displays the content of the email. Why is this happening?

Could be you might possibly need a later version 7. There is later versions available now for Windows and Mac via the release history page…

7.2.50008 for Windows & 7.2.37965 for Mac

Suggest to First backup eM Client V7.x via "Menu / File / Backup. Then close eM Client and download the latest V7.2 via the release history page and then install that update & try again.

Apart from that uninstall eM Client and if you have Windows, "don’t delete the database when asked on the uninstall wizard. Then reinstall.

Thanks cyberzork! I wasn’t even aware that I could download updates. I’ll give it a shot.
