The program does not work at all, from two days ago. When I try to download the mails, in the Operations Window a messages are shown as follows: (SEE SPECIALLY THE LATEST LINES: “CONNECTION REFUSED”) . I run the repair installation but it does not fix the problem.

Apart from any current Gmail server issues which im not aware of at present, that can be caused by a eg: optionally installed Firewall / Security program or optionally installed Antivirus program or optionally installed Vpn. So if you have anything like that installed “other than what comes default with your OS”, try completely disabling those to test incase of interferance,
Apart from that check that your IMAP account Server settings haven’t changed via going to “Menu / Accounts” and click on your Gmail account on the left and then click the IMAP Tab and you should have Server address imap.gmail.com, Port 993 = Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy) or Policy Use TLS on Special Port with the latest V10.3.4341 in the upcoming build.
If you have those settings and no optionally installed programs running resident, then could be some physical network problem between you and the Gmail server. So next suggest to power off your computer and modem for say 2 mins and then turn back on and see if that fixes it.
If still a problem, you might either need to “remove and re-add your Gmail account” via the Add Account Wizard Email Client for Gmail and Google Apps | eM Client , or alternativily if you have been making regular eM Client backups, you could try restoring a recent dated backup when you know it was connecting ok via “Menu / File / Restore”. Any new emails since the restore point will update when eM Client then connects / syncs.
