search just grinds away forever.
When I close it, it wants to verify the data base, and that takes forever too.

what accounts do you have set up? Do you download all your emails for offline use if it’s IMAP accounts?
What is the size of your database?
Are there any error messages when you try to search or close the program?

one email account (POP3) imported from an Outlook account.
Many were skipped during the import for some reason.
Is there a bug in imports from Outlook?
Maybe 6-7 hundred items in total - should be a quick search
no error messages but I gave up after 10 minutes
