Email not Received Immediately

I am accessing an IMAP service for my email.

On all occasions my mail is received on my phone, tablet and Windows email program but Emclient does not receive the messages for many minutes later.

Why is that, it should be immediate.

Hello,

This is absolutely normal, server can send emails to different clients in different time.

Very often mobile clients uses different settings how to communicate with server other that desktop clients do.
