Email kann nicht verarbeitet werden?

Sending not possible: Message “The maximum length of the email text has been reached”, even for very short test emails. But it used to work!

That can sometimes be eg: a “restriction in your mail server mailbox” when sending as @skybat advised in his post in the following thread like with eg: Gmail accounts, or you might possibly “have something hidden within your email body” causing it to be longer than normal if you are eg: pasting text etc into email from external webpages etc.

So first check with your mail server technical support or website if they have any restrictions when composing mail & sending mail.

Also “if you are pasting webpage text into an email”, try first coping it into eg: Notepad Windows or Textmate Mac to strip out any hidden or non standard code and then paste it into the email body and see if that fixes it.

If there is no maximum length restriction on your mail server mailbox when composing and sending, and even pasting into Notepad or Textmate first makes no difference, then suggest if you have an IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account and nothing in Local Folders, then try going to “Menu / Accounts” and remove and readd your mail account and see if that fixes it.

Apart from that others on this forum might comment on this issue.
