Email in my junk folder that is valid. Using Gmail.

Using gmail. In my Junk folder if I see a valid email, there is no button to say, this is not junk. Do I copy it over to the inbox? How do I say an item is not junk?

Hi, yes. Instead of the move to junk icon you should be seeing the “Move to Inbox” icon with a dropdown menu that allows you to remove the blacklisted domain or email.

Thank you,
Paul.

Thanks for the answer.

My fault, should have seen the button.

No problem, if you have any more issues or question check back with us. Glad it works.

Thank you,

I am having this email issue myself using gmail via IMAP.  I have one contact who is listed in my contacts address book whose email always arrive in the junk folder rather than my inbox.  This is the only one that does.

I cannot see any dropdown menu that will allow me to change the status to genuine, only an option to move to my inbox.  However, moving it to the inbox does not affect any future emails which all still go into the junk folder.  How can I whitelist the email address or domain to stop this happening please?
