I subscribe to a mailing list and all those incoming emails go to the Junk Email box. I have tried telling EMClient that those are legitimate emails but it doesn’t help. How do I fix this?
Thanks
kwat
First thing could be your online server mailbox automatically filtering is detecting it as possible spam via something in the header, subject or body and moving it.l to the Junkmail folder.
So first if your mailbox provider does have automatic spam filtering enabled, go to your Junkmail folder online and select that email and mark it as not junk, which will then train your online mailbox to keep it in your inbox for future emails and automatically move it to your Inbox.
Also “check online in your mailbox filtering” to make sure you haven’t accidentally setup a rule to automatically move that sender to Junkmail. If you don’t know where that is contact your online mailbox technical support via phone or web.
Next go to “Menu / Rules” in eM Client and see if you have any custom Local rules setup to automatically move that sender to the Junkmail folder. You can dblclick any rules in there to view them apart from the basic spam rule at the top. If you have a lot of rules in there and are unsure, suggest to disable / uncheck them all including the basic spam filtering at the top to determine if it’s anything in there causing the problem.

Next if there are no custom rules setup to automatically move that senders email to the Junkmail folder, then could be you have accidentally blacklisted the senders email address or domain and is then automatically going to the Junkmail folder when it arrives.
To check if it’s blacklisted in eM Client V9 or V10 see @Gary post below
