Email folders auto filing

I am considering moving to eM, but I have a question. I have used Outlook and Thunderbird in the past and rely on the filing of emails that I receive or send to a particular email folder that I have set. 
Does eM have the facility to program auto filing of emails into selected folders ?

Yes, in eM Client this is called a Rule.

An easy way to set it up is to right-click on the sender’s name/address in the email and choose Create Rule From. This will automatically create a new Rule to move the message to a folder.
