EmClient 7 Beta: email counts on folders wrong if Conversations are active

Using Gmail IMAP

Repro here:
Have some folders in Gmail aside from Inbox
Download emails, turn conversations on, either globally or in message only
Sync some emails
Read, mark read, and/or delete some emails in those folders

  • Unread counts get stuck

Can someone please confirm this issue? (user or dev?)

I believe EM has conceded that the unread email count is wrong in the latest beta and they plan on fixing it by the next beta

I can assure you we are aware of this major issue and we’re working hard on fixing it. Please bear with us in the meantime, a new beta update is coming soon!
