Email alias appears correct on my end, but incorrect on receiver's end.

So, I’ve got groups that forward to my email address. [email protected], [email protected], [email protected].

I’ve created an alias for these in EM client, and when I reply I can choose the option to use [email protected]. Everything looks good on the sending side. Sent folder shows sent from as [email protected]. But on the receiving side it still shows [email protected].

Are you using gmail as your smtp server? If so, it changes your from address. See this discussion: https://discourse.emclient.com/emclient/to…

Actually, I found the solution. I just needed to add AND VERIFY, alternate send from emails in gmail. After which it worked just fine.
