eM wont start

Suddenly eM doesn’t start any more, I get a long error message “System.Badimage…”
What’s wrong?

Sounds like your database may be corrupt.  The best way to handles this is to delete the old database and create a new one.  If you are using IMAP, you won’t loose any data as eM Client will sync to the host and all messages will be available.

1.  Close eM Client
2.  Navigate to c:\users[user_name]\Appdata\Roaming and delete (or rename) the eM Client folder (This is a hidden file, so you may have to check view/hidden items
3.  Restart eM Client.  eM Client will create a new, fresh database
4.  Reenter account information

Your account will begin to sync.
