Hello Ken,

thank you for reporting this, we are very sorry that you experienced this issue.
According to message you received it looks like your database is corrupted.
Those are the options you have at this moment:

  1. If you made any backup of eM Client’s database in the past you can simply restore it and eM Client should start working without any problems.
  2. In case you have all your data saved on servers you can simply delete the database folder and start eM Client.
It will create empty database where you can set your accounts again. All your data should be pushed to eM Client automatically then.
You can find eM Client database here:
    C:\Users%Current User%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client
To locate AppData folder you need to view hidden folders in Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any assistance.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your reply.  I have uninstalled eM Client and reinstalled version 6.0.24928.0, which runs successfully.  It is only when I try to upgrade that I get the the errors shown.  If revert back to ver 6 then all runs as expected.

Regards

Ken Mole

Hi Anthony,  I have copied and sent you the Log as requested.  I have also tried replacing eM Client folder in App Data/Roaming and upgrading but this fails.  Regards Ken Mole

Thank you Ken,

Log seems to be without any errors.
By replacing eM Client folder you mean that you removed the old one or how exactly did you proceed, was eM Client running during this operation?

Hi Anthony, Yes version 6.0.24928.0 runs fine but when I select upgrade from an upgrade window I get the errors shown in my 1st contact. If I uninstall eM Client and reinstall version 6.0.24928.0 it again runs fine. It is the upgrade which appears to cause the problem. I can forward a screen capture of the offered upgrade. Regards Ken Mole
