I do think people new to em Client should know how unique it is when it comes to tagging. I have found no other email app – tell me if you’ve seen another – that allows you to tag messages on both Outlook and Gmail platforms using their native tagging systems, such that they show up in other apps. Most email clients let you tag in one format but not the other. A very few allow you to do both – Postbox, by tacking on its own proprietary tagging system, which can’t be seen or used by any other app; Airmail, by setting up a whole new set of folders buried deep inside their respective email hosts, which is messy and feels like it could cause problems. So hat’s off to eM’s developers. I don’t know why other apps haven’t done the same, but it’s a deal closer for me.
