eM Client won't download my Earthlink email

I get a “Connection failed” message every time I tell the program to refresh, telling me to “check settings.” There is no way to “check settings” that I can detect in my em client program. Please don’t tell me to go to “Menu,” “Account,” as there is no “Menu” command or tab in the program either. Thank you!

I was thinking it might be an incorrrect password. But I don’t see any way here to access my passwords.
