eM Client Slow to open messages

Why does it take several seconds…sometimes a minute to open messages?

what protocol do you use? POP or IMAP? And what version of eM Client do you have?

I notice this too depending on what else is going on in the network; and often see a group of dots going from left to right on top the window.

What is the size of the message? You can workaround it by downloading your messages for offline use. Open your account settings, go to tab IMAP and check the option “Download messages for offline use”.
