EM Client randomly shuts down and restarts with Windows 8

EM client randomly shuts down and restarts while I am writing emails or switching from a webpage over to looking at my email. It never seems to be the same thing that prompts this automatic shutdown, and the error message is "an error has occured in the application that prevents it from continuing. The application will terminate. When it restarts (automatically), I get a message saying it wasn’t shut down properly last time and it checks for database errors. This happens 10-20 times a day. I’m using Windows 8.
This was what I copied from the error message:
