I’ve been using eM Client with the free license for several months. When I opened it today, I got a message that it hasn’t been able to connect to the eM Client network for 14 days and will now be restricted to offline. How can I resolve this? Please note, I am technologically challenged!
I have the same problem and also need a solution.
Same problem, unable to connect, offline for “14 days”, mother’s email account is fine on same computer! Please can eM C sort this, otherwise will have to go back to Windows Mail or other
Hello, if you’re unable to connect to the remote licensing server, please make sure no security application is blocking the connection by allowing access to http://licensing.emclient.com or Port 80. If the issue persists, make sure you’re able to connect to the server by opening the address in your browser.
“make sure no security application is blocking the connection by allowing access to http://licensing.emclient.com or Port 80” - how do I do this?
I have opened the address in my browser, it just gives me a link to downloading Microsoft Silverlight which I have done.
As far as I am aware nothing has changed at my end. I received emails up to 14th August when this problem occurred, so don’t understand the 14 days reference.
Is your application unable to receive new mail at the moment?
It seems to have fixed itself! Have no idea how, but all running smoothly again.
Glad it works, please make sure to let us know if you come across this or any other issues or questions about the application, we’ll be happy to help.
