As the heading describes, yesterday is the first time this had happened. I always have my VPN on. I un-installed completely, reinstalled, same thing.

Can you please disable the VPN and see if eM Client connects. If it does, you will need to configure the VPN to allow eM Client access to your server. The documentation from the app vendor should describe how to do that.
Thanks Gary. Yes it does. I selected another server and eM connected again. I was just about to contact the my VPN when your message arrived.
